What's On

Twickenham House

Apologies to everybody who was looking forward to going round. Cranbourne Homes have decided they cannot open up the house now because it is a building site with very limited access.

A Grade II* listed Mansion built for Joseph Tomkins in 1756. Country Life reported in 1929 'The decorative fashions of the time are epitomised in this building.' It has been converted to Office accommodation in the 1970s, and is soon to become luxury apartments. On show inside will be models and plans of the Old Gaol development, incorporating Twickenham House.
