Young Visions - Guildhall

Young People have been asked to portray what they think the area around the County Hall in Abingdon will look like in the future. The artistic portrayal can be in the form of a dance, poem, film, song or picture.

Ask the Expert - Museum

The Honorary Archivist of Abingdon - Jackie Smith - will be available in the museum to answer any questions you have about the town of Abingdon.

Meet the Mayor and Chair of the Vale

A photo opportunity - times to be arranged nearer the date.

Odd One Out - Shop Windows

Shops will place an object – one never sold in their shop - in their window display. Each participating shop will display a heritage balloon. Entry forms, to find as many as you can, available on the Market Place stall, must be returned to the Market Place by 4 PM on Saturday 13th July to win a small prize.

 Shop Window Competition

Traditional Morris Dancers

The Abingdon Traditional Morris Dancers will dance first on the Market Place at 10:30. Then dance at other venues around town.

Rock 'n' Roll to Save Your Soul

Live contemporary worship music with youth and adult bands from Christ Church, Abingdon.   Come along to sing along and find out more about the good news of God’s love for you.   Enjoy the music and the opportunity to ask any questions on Christianity, plus pick-up an invitation for a free dinner at the Alpha Supper.
