Remains of the domestic buildings of the medieval abbey
destroyed by Henry VIII and now owned by The Friends of
Abingdon. Of particular note are the 13th century chimney, Long
Gallery, Undercroft and the Checker Hall now the Unicorn
Theatre.
The Abbey Buildings are owned and run by The Friends of Abingdon. Explore the Long Gallery, the Checker and the Checker Hall (now the Unicorn Theatre).
